Bu tez, Cumhuriyet Üniversitesi Sosyal Bilimler Enstitüsü’nde Yüksek Lisans tezi olarak hazırlanmıştır. Bu çalışma bir giriş, iki bölüm ve bir sonuçtan oluşmaktadır. Giriş bölümünde araştırmanın amacı, sınırlılıkları ve yöntemi üzerinde durulmuştur. Ayrıca Hafik’in tarihi ve coğrafi durumu kaynaklara dayanarak ortaya konmaya çalışılmıştır. Yine bu bölümde Hafik ve köylerinin demografik yapısı verildikten sonra ekonomik durumu, eğitim-öğretim seviyesi ve din eğitimi ile ilgili tespitlere yer verilmiştir. Birinci bölümde, gözleme dayanılarak Hafik merkez ve köylerinde yaşayan insanların sosyo-kültürel yapısı üzerinde durulmuştur. İkinci bölümde, Hafik merkez ve köylerinde ziyaret yerleri tanıtılmıştır. Sonuç bölümünde ise, eserin genel bir değerlendirmesi yapılmış ve bazı dikkat çekici önemli noktalar belirtilmiştir.

This thesis was prepared as a post graduate in social sciences institute of Cumhuriyet University. This work is consist of one introduction, two chapters and final chapter. In introtuction part, we are dwelling upon purpose of our thesis, restraints and methods. We also tried to give information about a brief historical account and geographic structure of Hafik and its villages, some fixes were underlined about economic situation, educational degree of Hafik and religion teaching in this district. In first chapter, we are dwelling up on the beliefs, customs and social structure of the people live in villages and the centre of the Hafik with the help of investigation and research. In second chapter, holy places and entombed saints in district centre and its villages are being introduced. In final chapter, by making general evaluations of our work, some specific and significant points were mentioned.
